Business Change Project Manager

We are now looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our growing Business Change team, on a fixed term basis until March 2020.

Coming from a background in delivering projects which directly impact the business you will confidently report directly into the Director of Customer Operations to support Contact Centre operations. Key responsibilities will include competency frameworks, workforce management, training and development, MI production, continuous improvement, desk planning and workflow plans.

As a Project Manager you will take responsibility for the timely and on budget delivery of initiatives whilst managing implementation of staff in a matrix-managed structure and allocated on an as-needs basis to various other projects.

We’re looking for a strong communicator with previous experience of successfully managing client facing projects through the full project life cycle. You will have a flexible approach to working with the wider business across multiple activities, ideally from a financial services background.

What you’ll be expected to do in the role
  • Ensuring delivery to agreed business objectives, requirements, schedules, costs and quality objectives.
  • Ensuring business requirements are accurately captured and solution is appropriately developed to support generation of the business case.
  • Establish, control and monitor project timescales and budgets, obtaining appropriate approvals and authorisations, considering dependencies and taking appropriate action to overcome delays, difficulties or cost overruns.
  • Provide direction and support to ensure a smooth project initiation enabling project approval and prioritisation.
  • Defining project success factors, benefits metrics and realisation approaches to measure and drive real benefit for the business
  • When required plan, communicate and implement change ensuring all those affected fully understand the nature and implications of such changes.
What we’re looking for from you


  • A project manager with previous experience of successfully managing client facing projects through the full project life cycle
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge supportively and effectively where appropriate
  • Can work as a hybrid across business and IT
  • Excellent time management skills with proven ability to manage projects effectively.
  • Demonstrable experience in producing and delivering quality presentations to both internal and external customers
  • Strong understanding of project governance and controls including scope & deliverable management
  • Experience of working with SME’s to produce robust estimates in line with client requirements
  • Developing and maintaining project schedules in Microsoft Project
Qualifications required:
  • Educated to degree or equivalent work experience
  • Professional accreditation/certifications in Project or Programme Management (Prince 2 or equivalent)
