Business Project Manager

We are now recruiting for an accomplished and driven Business Project Manager to join our busy and expanding Business Change Team.

Flexible with your approach, you will be responsible for the management of ideas, through to the successful implementation and benefits realisation, of a range of business led programmes and projects across the organisation.

With your proven experience of project management, you will plan, control and manage the delivery of end-to-end complex business change projects, which predominately have an I.T element, using adaptive Agile and Waterfall methodologies at the request of our internal stakeholders.

What you’ll be expected to do in the role:
  • Manage the delivery of business change projects, using a mixture of both internal and external delivery teams to ensure benefits are delivered
  • Scope and create detailed Project Plans ensuring they are resourced, monitored and controlled throughout the lifecycle of the project
  • Implement and maintain a project schedule, project documents, highlight reports and meeting notes
  • Build robust relationships with all stakeholders, through regular, on-going communications and engagement, proactively searching for solutions to challenges and understanding opportunities to maintain delivery
What we’re looking for from you:
  • Proven experience delivering end to end projects
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • The ability to run with certain levels of uncertainty around process and deliverables
  • Demonstrable soft skills including; interpersonal influencing, communication, effective negotiation and emotional intelligence
  • A strong working knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Financial services experience within an FCA-regulated environment
  • Experience in customising and re-engineering processes to align with strategic goals
