Copy and Content Executive

Moneybarn are now looking for a skilled Copywriter to join our brilliant Marketing Team. This is a brand-new role and will be a great opportunity to make your mark in a growing team. We are looking for someone with a true passion for words and an understanding of how they can be used to create an engaging message that will reach our target audience.

Your journalistic mindset will help you to explore the great stories that are happening at Moneybarn and create compelling content that will engage our intended audiences. As a Copywriter at Moneybarn you will need to be confident in communicating with a wide range of stakeholders which includes our Executive Management. You will need to be comfortable asking questions, finding compelling stories and then transforming these stories into captivating content.

You will need to have a solid understanding of how content needs to be created and adapted to different mediums such as web, email, advertising and social media. Your existing knowledge of content management systems and social medial platforms will allow you to work closely with our existing team on how content should be best implemented to deliver on engagement metrics.

What you will be expected to do in the role
  • Shape the content strategy in line with Moneybarn’s brand and marketing direction
  • Lead all copywriting for the Marketing team that includes the website and blog, ad copy, content marketing, email, social media posts, etc. On occasion, some internal communications articles are generated from the Marketing team
  • Oversee content creation suppliers in the delivery of photography, video, and rich media production projects
  • Interpret data and analysis (e.g. Google Analytics) to assess the performance of content and plan ongoing improvements
  • Maintain and evolve the brand tone of voice (TOV) to ensure that all copy that comes from the Marketing team, as well as content and imagery, complies with our brand guidelines
What we are looking for from you:

Essential

  • Experience in a copywriting or digital marketing environment
  • Strong writing skills and an ability to create engaging content
  • Experience of digital copywriting and knowledge of writing for web and channel knowledge
  • An understanding of how content impacts web analytics and content performance metrics

Desirable

  • Digital marketing qualifications
  • Financial Services sector experience
