Direct Sales Team Leader

We are Moneybarn, the UK’s largest specialist vehicle finance lender, and we are looking for a confident, inspiring and determined Team Leader to join our energetic Direct Sales Team.

The Direct Sales Team pride themselves on their excellent customer service, working with our customers who have come direct to Moneybarn via the website, telephone or via a 3rd party, to get their journey with Moneybarn off to a great start.

As Direct Sales Team Leader, you will build and maintain strong working relationships with your team of 8-12 individuals, mentoring and developing their sales skills to ensure morale is high and targets are reached in a fast-paced sales environment.

What you'll be expected to do in the role
  • Monitor and ensure the delivery, maintenance and ongoing improvement of sales efficiency targets, through the management of individual performance
  • Coaching, mentoring and development of staff to be able to identify strengths and weaknesses providing ongoing training, setting individual objectives in line with the company appraisals
  • Identify contact strategies in a sales environment and being able to change strategy to maximize sales
  • Understand staffing requirements and being able to flex staff on different marketing campaigns to maximize sales. Maintaining the correct staffing levels to meet business needs.  Interviewing and recruiting of new staff to support the team's growth
  • Deliver first line audits and ongoing evaluation of processes and procedures, making recommendations for change, to drive increased sales and lean efficiencies
What we're looking for from you

Must have

  • Experience in a Team Leader role
  • The ability to coach, train and motivate a team of people
  • The ability to lead others by example
  • Experience working in a results driven environment
  • Experience working in a sales environment


  •  Previous experience in an FCA regulated environment
  • To be able to manage the business needs  through policies and procedures balancing the needs of our people
