Facilities Supervisor

Due to continued growth, we now have a brand-new opportunity for a proactive Facilities Supervisor to join our friendly team, located in Petersfield. The key function of this role is to supervise all Facilities related activities, ensuring the upkeep of the site and managing relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

Comfortable working in an environment where rolling your sleeves up and getting stuck in is the norm, you will be happy to turn your hand to any task required to get the job done. In the role of Facilities Supervisor, you will be responsible for day to day tasks including managing desk moves, building maintenance and car parking allocation, through to planning and executing larger projects and budget management.

To be brilliant in this role, you will be a natural at building strong working relationships and you will be flexible in your approach, able to manage situations as they arise, with a cool head and a professional manner.

This role would suit an experienced Facilities Supervisor, keen to work in a standalone role in a friendly and welcoming environment. We are open to receiving applications on both a full and part time basis.

What you’ll be expected to do in the role:
  • Assume overall responsibility for facilities management, working with internal resources and external suppliers to ensure the building and working environment is safe and fit for purpose
  • Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation
  • Carry out inspections of the building to identify and resolve issues
  • Oversee all repair and installation activities
  • Allocate workload and supervise internal and external staff who are undertaking building maintenance activity
  • Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance
  • Manage relationships with contractors and service provider
  • Keep maintenance records and ensure any regular maintenance activity is carried out
