To drive this forward, we now have a brand-new opportunity for a Learning and Development Partner, based in our HR team in Petersfield.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced L&D professional to join a growing company driven by a values-based approach of being fair, approachable, responsible and progressive.

What you’ll be expected to do in the role:

You will play a pivotal role in the creation and delivery of the people plan for the organisation, developing a learning and development framework that will support the business including; shaping development programmes for high potentials, creating competency frameworks and building leadership programmes. Day to day you will:

  • Lead on the formulation and implementation of the L&D strategy
  • Manage, develop and implement end to end learning processes aligned to Moneybarn policy
  • Manage all L&D projects
  • Design and implement programmes, initiatives, training and the processes and procedures required to ensure delivery of Moneybarn policy and achieve behavioural change
  • Contribute to the development and achievement of business plans, providing insightful information, guidance and advice, enabling business areas to assess the implications linked to their decisions
  • Recommend areas for change, supporting the leadership team in delivery of agreed change projects to achieve continuous improvement
  • Manage and motivate the learning and development team, developing them through stretching objectives, feedback and coaching
  • Give advice and guidance, anticipating and providing solutions to a range of problems to facilitate effective people management practices and project delivery
  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support the provision of advice and analysis to inform business decisions
  • Support design and delivery of the talent management proposition and framework for Moneybarn including talent initiatives such as Leadership development, 360 and coaching programmes
  • Provide an input on the development of the Moneybarn culture and working environment

Must have:

  • Demonstrable experience of learning design and development
  • Proven track record of translating vision, innovative strategies and business requirements into clear, actionable goals
  • Ability to assess training needs and design and deliver blended learning solutions
  • Strong influencing skills, able to make an immediate impact with stakeholders
  • Demonstrated project/process management ability
  • Ability to manage vendors and third parties
  • Flexible in approach
  • First class communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Understanding of latest L&D thinking and external best practice


  • CIPD qualification
  • Experience in Financial Services or a regulated environment
