Payroll Consultant

We have an exciting new opportunity for Payroll Consultant to join our fantastic Finance team. This is an amazing opportunity for an experienced Payroll expert to really make a difference in our team.

This role is for a duration of 3 months and is available day rate contractor basis.

As our new Payroll Consultant your role will be to help develop and improve pension processes, develop a system of monitoring minimum wages and compliance with legislation and general payroll improvements, controls and efficiencies.

What you’ll be expected to do in the role
  • Reviewing our pension scheme, documentation, processes and communications with colleagues
  • Setting up a new pension scheme to work alongside the salary sacrifice scheme and ensuring robust processes in place to maintain 2 schemes within HR and payroll
  • Assessing minimum wage across the business in conjunction with the HR team and Group Companies and setting up processes to manage and monitor
  • Review of whole payroll process to streamline and improve and assess for fit/purpose
What we’re looking for from you
Must have
  • Previous experience in setting up/improving payroll processes
  • Expert in auto-enrolment legislation
  • Expert in minimum wage legislation
  • Able to provide best-in-class payroll suggestions and improvements
