Procurement Assistant

Moneybarn is a leading lender in the vehicle finance sector and due to continued growth we are now seeking a highly analytical Assistant Buyer to join our Finance Team.

Providing support to the Procurements and Contracts Manager your focus will be on the delivery of savings targets; ensuring that key company purchases are competitively tendered. Utilising your excellent communication skills when managing the Contracts Register, you’ll ensure that all levels of the wider business are adhering to the correct processes.

Due to the interaction with third party suppliers as well as multiple departments across the business and wider group, a passion and understanding of delivering great customer service will help you succeed in your new role. What you’ll be expected to do in the role
  • Maintain Contracts Register including but not limited to; logging in GDPR addendums, new suppliers, supplier spend and contract details etc.
  • Assist with GDPR queries and issue weekly updates to ExCo
  • Maintain central repository of supplier files
  • Log in Business change projects requiring Procurement input/resource
  • Assist with on boarding of new suppliers
  • Prepare the Group wide reports and documentation for Provident Financial Group
  • Assist with the preparation of internal Procurement Business reports for distribution to ExCo and other key stakeholders as required.
  • Record and track high value purchase submissions to Provident Financial Group
  • Maintain Supplier spend report to provide a monthly overview of activity to the Business.
  • Attend meetings as required by Procurement Manager
  • Log and help to resolve Supplier invoice queries
  • Maintain the Request for Proposal (RFP) spreadsheet and update as necessary
  • Interface with Moneybarn Legal Counsel to help resolve supplier terms and conditions queries.
