Remarketing Manager

The role, reporting to the  Director of Recoveries and Litigation, is the safe and commercial management of the Remarketing Dept. and the control of the disposal of all vehicles returned to Moneybarn via the most appropriate channels, including auction houses. One of the key objectives is to ensure the best sales value is returned on vehicles sold via these channels including correct preparation and presentation of these vehicles. To ensure the best financial outcome for both our Customer and Moneybarn.

Responsibilities Of The Role
  • Management of the remarketing/disposal of all vehicles returned to Moneybarn including Repossessions and Voluntary Terminations (VT’s)
  • Management of the Auction House(S) selling cars on behalf of Moneybarn
  • Management of the Inspection Company(S) who inspects and collects VT vehicles on behalf of Moneybarn
  • Manage the internal process of remarketing including DIBS sales platform, Cherished Plates, V5’s, and Service Histories
  • Manage the Auction house process including inspections, refurbishment, valeting, mechanical repairs and sales programme
  • Manage End of Contract Process including billing, excess mileage, Auction Fees
  • Generate and provide management reporting to measure and improve the Remarketing processes
  • Manage Remarketing staff
  • Work with the Price Guide companies – CAP and Glass’s
  • CAP Clean Target

  • Hold an exceptional knowledge of the car industry
  • Knowledge and experience of Auction Houses and Remarketing channels
  • Knowledge and experience of vehicle movement channels
