Trainer ( Learning & Development)

We are now recruiting an experienced Trainer, to complement our Learning and Development team.  Our mission is to ensure we continue to deliver a first-class induction and onboarding experience to our new team members.

Responsible for updating and delivering company training and development activities in accordance with organisational requirements.  You will work closely with our Contact Centre Team Leaders, Managers and Quality Assurance team, to carry out training, coaching and development activities to drive performance, with particular focus on compliance, call quality and productivity KPIs.

You’ll relish the opportunity to make this role your own and the responsibility the role provides. You will display a real taste and flare for training people with previous experience of designing and delivering training ideally in a contact centre environment. In addition to being a brilliant trainer you’ll also be Passionate about developing colleagues and seeing the impact this has on customer service.

What you’ll be expected to do in the role:
  • Responsible for the updating, planning, implementation and delivery of Learning and Development requirements to agreed timescales
  • Responsible for updating the delivery of the company induction programme for all new employees
  • Side by side call listening with Customer Support Agents, identifying opportunities for improvement and development
  • Ensure that new Customer Support Agents understand and adhere to industry regulation and internal compliance
  • Manage and maintain the e-learning tools and platform used across the business
What we’re looking for from you:


  • Proven experience of training, design, delivery and evaluation
  • The ability to identify performance improvement opportunities and coach and develop Agents
  • Experience of a regulated environment following process and procedure
  • Ability to prioritise workload dependent on the requirements of the business at any one time
  • Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in delivering engaging and enthusiastic training sessions
  • Self-motivated and ability to motivate others


  • Experience working within the motor finance industry
  • Knowledge and understanding of FCA regulations
