Should I tax and insure a vehicle being collected?

Where possible, yes, you will need to keep paying both tax and insurance on the vehicle until we are in a position where we can collect it. It is part of the terms and conditions of your agreement that these conditions are met. However, if you are unable to do this because you can’t afford it, please contact the DVLA as soon as possible to declare the vehicle as SORN. You can do this here.
