Moneybarn has been named one of the UK’s Best Workplaces™ by Great Place to Work.

We were recognised along with 161 other UK organisations and came 33rd in the large business category, which includes brands such as Adobe, Mercedes-Benz Financial Services UK and SC Johnson.

This award is particularly special as it’s awarded through the completion of colleague surveys. Each company is marked on categories such as career and development, communication, diversity, job security and culture to name a few. The results mean a lot to all that work at Moneybarn, as it shows that our colleagues think Moneybarn is a pretty great place to work.

Moneybarn HR Director, Catherine Diamond, said: “Being recognised as one of the 2020 UK’s Best Workplaces is a real honour, but even more impressive given the fact this is the first year we’ve entered. The award recognises employers who go above and beyond to address specific workplace challenges. However, this award also reflects the hard work and effort each and every one of us puts in to making Moneybarn the unique and special place it is. This is a significant achievement and we should all be proud.”

The Best Workplaces accreditation is mainly based on colleague feedback from last year’s Great Place to Work employee survey. To achieve the award, we had to score 70% or more in specific questions that make up our overall Trust Index©. The accreditation also takes into account a Culture Audit, conducted by Great Place to Work, that looks at all aspects of our employee experience.

Catherine said: “We were blown away by the feedback we received in the survey. More than 70% of respondents answered positively to most questions and we are delighted that Moneybarn has been recognised by our employees as an organisation that promotes a healthy workplace culture through trust, pride and camaraderie.”

The annual publication Best Workplaces, which lists all 162 organisations, was available in The Guardian on 30 April and The Sunday Telegraph on 3 May.
