I’m not using the vehicle; do I need to keep it insured?

Yes. It’s part of the terms and conditions of your agreement that the vehicle is insured at all times. Even if you feel that the vehicle is kept in a safe location, if the vehicle was uninsured then any incident that happened may leave you liable to pay costs. These are costs that your insurance company will pay if the vehicle is still insured.

From the 13th May insurance companies will be offering payment holidays for between 1-3 months. If you are finding it difficult to repay your car insurance monthly payments, please get in touch with your insurance provider to see how they can help you.
