I got a Citroen Berlingo van financed by Moneybarn in early 2022 and I haven’t looked back!
I live in Staffordshire with my wife, my 10-year-old son, dog, rabbits, gerbils and fish! There’s always a lot going on in my house. I work as a Lathe Setter and Operator in the energy sector, and I love to fish and support my local football team, Wolves.
Fishing is a passion of mine and I like to do it as much as I can. However, it does involve travelling with quite a lot of kit, so I thought the best thing to do was to get a van to make everything a bit easier. I actually don’t even use the van for work!

When looking to get a van I knew I needed to get one on finance, so I compared 2 different companies and Moneybarn ended up being the most affordable option for me.
When I started looking for a van, I didn’t want anything too big as I mainly just needed it for fishing kit, but it needed to have enough space for all of it too! That’s why a Citroen Berlingo was the best choice for me. The one I chose had low mileage and was in a good condition, which was exactly what I was looking for.
Not only do I use the van to go fishing but it’s my main vehicle, so I also use it to get to work and to see friends and family. The van is reliable and it’s one less worry having to think about breaking down, which has made life easier on top of being able to get my fishing kit about.

Catching up with Paul
We caught up with Paul again, a few years on, to see how he’s now finding his Moneybarn vehicle finance agreement…
Nothing much has changed since the last time we spoke. No monumental life changes. I am still doing the same job, although I have changed my shift pattern.
Since beginning my journey with Moneybarn I have been very happy with my vehicle, it’s been reliable (so far), and I am generally really pleased with it.
I’ve been fishing on numerous occasions all over the UK using the van which has been a god send for lugging all my tackle around! I use it as my main vehicle to get to and from work, and as mentioned, it’s been extremely useful for fishing. It’s also helped if I’ve needed a larger vehicle.
I am very satisfied that I chose Moneybarn for my vehicle finance, and it’s been extremely easy paying my monthly payments. If I needed another vehicle on finance, I would definitely consider Moneybarn as they’ve been really good and I’ve not had any problems. I would also recommend them to my friends and family, because I’ve found Moneybarn really friendly and helpful.
