We’ve won the Company Award for Diversity & Inclusion at this year’s Car Finance Awards. This award recognises our inclusive culture and colleague experience. Judges praised Moneybarn’s deeply embedded and genuinely people-led approach to diversity and inclusion, highlighting strong employee engagement and leadership-backed initiatives.

They also recognised the impact of our colleague-led affinity groups in shaping culture and policy. More than 180 colleagues actively shape our inclusion agenda through affinity groups, mentoring and allyship. Our five affinity groups drive policy improvements, elevate lived experiences and influence how we work. Supported by senior sponsors, they ensure inclusion remains visible, accountable and embedded across the organisation, driving continuous, colleague-led progress.

Judges also recognised our commitment to inclusive products, accessible communications, and support for underrepresented talent. Together, these efforts are creating an environment where inclusion is driving positive outcomes for both employees and customers.

Affinity group members Roberto Sideris and Tashema Jackson collected the award at the ceremony at Birmingham’s National Motorcycle Museum on Wednesday 20 May.

The Credit Strategy Car Finance Awards honour the most innovative, impactful, and high-performing businesses and individuals across the industry.

Head of Brand and Vehicle Finance Marketing, Tim Schwarz said: “We couldn’t be happier that we took the top spot, rising above tough competition to win the trophy. This is great recognition for Moneybarn and Vanquis.”

Chief People Officer, Elli Michaelides said: “This award is an important milestone for our business and a testament to the culture we are continuing to build. Across financial services, diverse perspectives are critical to better decision-making, improved customer outcomes, and long-term success. We remain committed to creating an environment where every colleague feels valued, supported, and able to reach their full potential.”
