Why was my application declined?

We specialise in providing finance to those who may have been declined finance elsewhere or have poor credit, but we can’t always provide finance to everybody who applies.

If you don’t meet our specific pre-application criteria, unfortunately then we will need to decline your application. However, this doesn’t that we won’t be able to accept you in the future.

We can decline you directly after application or after completing a full credit search. In most cases we won’t be able to confirm the specific reasons why we’ve declined an application, but we will refer you to our credit reference agencies who can confirm further information for you.

If you’ve been declined and would like to check your credit score, as well as see if other lenders will finance you for a vehicle, try using ClearScore or Experian. They can even offer advice on guidance on how to better your credit score.
