Do I have to purchase my vehicle through you?

We provide vehicle finance, but we aren’t a dealership and don’t provide the actual vehicle. We can help advise you on whether the dealership you choose is reputable, but we won’t tell you what vehicle to buy or where to buy it from. After all, it’s your vehicle and you want to find a vehicle that is most suitable to your needs.

The vehicle and the dealership you choose however will need to fit within our lending and dealership criteria, and if it doesn’t we won’t be able to finance you for a vehicle from that particular dealership. This is to protect you, and make sure you buy a reliable vehicle from a trusted dealership.

A reputable dealer will have a physical showroom or forecourt, be FCA registered and have a website with a landline number. They may also only offer viewings or test drives by appointment-only. You will not be able to purchase a vehicle from a private seller as this does not fit within our dealership criteria.

If you don’t know what vehicle you want yet, or haven’t found it, you can still apply with us to find out if we can offer you finance and how much. You’ll then know what amount you have to play with as you continue your search. We will also be able to suggest some vehicle dealers in your area and help with your search if needed.
